This page explains what cookies Chronos uses and how you can control them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device to remember something about your visit, for example, that you already dismissed a banner.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function, for example, to remember that you dismissed the subscribe bar during your session.
- Analytics. Aggregated, anonymized measurement of which stories are read and from where. We do not sell this data.
- Advertising. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ones. You can opt out via Google Ads Settings.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies or block them entirely in your browser settings. Doing so may make parts of Chronos display or behave differently.
EU / UK visitors
If you're visiting from a region that requires prior consent for non-essential cookies, we will surface a consent notice before loading advertising or analytics scripts.
